Description: An incomplete Medieval copper alloy single loop spur buckle with integral plate dating to c AD 1200 - 1450. The buckle consists of an oval frame with an integral plate projecting from behind the bar, tapering into an old break. The plate consists of two perforated oval lobes preceding a narrow bar. Length 40.2mm; Width 13.8mm; thickness 2.6mm; weight 2.11g. cf. Egan & Pritchard (1991: 79) nos. 320-321.
