STRAP FITTING 814395

Description: A complete post medieval cast copper alloy strap fitting dating to the 17th century. The fitting is axehead-shaped in plan with curved edges and two integral pointed wire rivets on the reverse. The edges of the upper surface are chamfered giving it a trapezoidal cross-section. It is 17.97mm in length, 14.52mm in width and weighs 1.47g.
