Description: A pair of copper-alloy mounts of probable Roman date. They are both pointed conical and convex with an integral circular rove (Dia.: c. 11mm) on their shanks. Both have corroded to a dull mid-green colour. One has suffered a blow to its head (1), the other some bending to its shank (2). Dimensions: 1) L.: 16.0mm, Dia.: 26.4mm, Th.
