Description: Fragment of late medieval/ early post medieval copper alloy rim from a cauldron. The rim in section is triangular, having one straight outside edge, while the inner one is angled. The fragment measures 33.9x18.8x3mm and weighs 10.54g. The outside edge has some black ?sooting adhering to the surface and also some heavy hammer blows around the rim area.
