CLOTH SEAL 136694

Description: Fragment of post medieval lead cloth seal, very worn and thin with no inscription remaining by which to identify it. It is rather large, c.23mm in diameter, and very thin, 0.7mm. It is probably an inner disc from a four-part seal as one arm projects outwards (another may be broken off). Weighs 1.15g. 16th/ 17th century.
