BUCKLE 811845

Description: An incomplete post-medieval copper alloy double oval buckle frame, consisting of one loop and the central bar only. The outside edge is triangular in shape witha moulded rosette on the apex. It measures 23.9x22.0x2.8mm and weighs 2.38g. Cf. Whitehead (1996) no.408, of which he suggests a date c.1550-1650.
