BUCKLE 601057

Description: An incomplete copper alloy Post Medieval (AD c.1550-1650) double loop oval buckle with moulded floral decoration on the loops. It comprises of the frame of one of the loops, but is missing the frame of the second loop, the strap bar and the pin. The lower part of the frame has been bent out of shape. Overall it measures 18.50mm long, 27.05mm wide and 2.40mm thick. It weighs 1.87g. Decoration consists of a moulded rosette on the outer edge of the loop. cf.
