Description: Fragment, cast copper-alloy trumpet brooch. Slightly flaring trumpet hollow head with rear loop to hold missing pin and spring. The bow is heavily curved. There is a moulded button at the centre of the front of the bow, although the brooch is too worn to identify any of the definition. There are traces of red enamel around the upper edge of the head and traces of blue and yellow enamel down the centre of the bow above the button. There id a hole throught the front surface of the head. The lower bow tapers to the missing foot. No trace of the catchplate survives. The surfaces are very heavily worn and corroded.
