UNIDENTIFIED OBJECT 136762

Description: A spherical object presumably of hard-fired clay. The object seems to have been made in a mould due to the presence of a regular median band (W.: c. 9.5mm). This object is of cream coloured clay, although other similar objects found in the county (not recorded on this database) all of the same proportions tend to come in a range of colours. This artefact is probably post-medieval in date and may have had any function from a net weight to a projectile.
