Description: A complete copper alloy buckle. The buckle frame is sub-triangular with a D-shaped cross section. The outer edge has a thickened, rounded point with a chamfered inner edge and is flanked by a small rounded knop on each side. At the back is a narrowed and off-set strap bar which has a circular cross-section with signs of wear. Attached to the bar is a copper alloy pin. The end that is hooked around the bar is flat and rectangular in cross section before a thin transverse moulded collar. After the collar it thickens into a D-shaped cross section and tapers to a rounded point.
