Widnell p. 386-7 Mrs Francis-Francis the American lady who had bought Lord Montagu’s bungalow at Thorns Beach where she had not only built the stables and coachhouses lying to the north of the Shore Road but also added, inter alia, twenty-one servants’ bedrooms, all in galvanized iron to match the original building.
