Description: A copper-alloy post-medieval Nuremberg 'Rose/orb' jetton issued by Hanns Krauwinckel II, dating to the period AD 1586-1635. Obverse depicts three crowns, alternately with three lis, arranged around a central rose with six heart shaped petals and surrounded by the legend HANNS KRAVWINCKEL IN N. Reverse depicts an imperial orb surmounted by a cross pattee within a tressure with three main arches and surrounded by the legend HEIT ROTT MORGEN DOTT. There is a die flaw on the letter M. The jetton has a radius of 21.3mm and weighs 1.13g. cf. Mitchiner (1988: 445) no.1578.
