Description: A dispersed coin hoard of two medieval voided long-cross pennies of Henry III (1216-72). The coins were discovered close together in the plough soil. Coin 1 - class 5b, struck by Randulf at Bury St. Edmunds, dating to 1250-6; North 992 Die axis 1, 18.1mm diameter, 1.26g. hENRICVS REX-III (NR ligated) RAN DVL FON S'ED Coin 2 - class 5g, struck by Renaud at Bury St. Edmunds, dating to 1258-65; North 997. The coin is folded inwards on the obverse between 9 and 3 o'clock. Die axis 1, 17.6mm diameter, 1.30g. hEN[RIC]VS REX-III REN AVD ON S'ED
