Description: A Roman copper alloy bracelet fragment, probably dating to c. AD 350-410. The bracelet fragment consists on a narrow, almost parallel sided strip of sheet copper alloy, terminating in a sub-oval perforated lug at one end and truncated by an old break at the other. The perforated terminal is preceded by a series of incised, parallel transverse lines, the other surviving portion of the bracelet comprises of a central incised longitudinal line, flanked by oblique lines.
Length 29.8mm; width 3.9mm; thickness 1.2mm; weight 0.67g.
