Description: A copper alloy cast early Post-medieval single sharp-hooked clasp, Class E Type 8 dating to the period AD 1500 - 1550. The clasp is one-piece mould relief with a rectangulat attachment loop. It has a recurving hook with a rounded shank. There is a figurative design consisting of three lines, the outer two of whihc end in swirls. Dimensions: Length: 30.50mm, Width: 14.24mm, Height 10.40mm, Thickness: 3.54mm, Weight: 4.69g
