BELL 864401

Description: A complete cast copper alloy Post Medieval crotal bell dating to between late 18th - mid 19th century. The bell was cast in one piece, including the suspension loop. The upper hemisphere is plain with two sound holes and the lower hemisphere is faintly decorated with a simple sunburst design of straight lines radiating from the sound bow. The suspension loop is integral to the bell, undrilled, and is square in shape. The bell is 35.91mm in height, 29.79mm in diameter and weighs 26.73 grams.
