Description: A post-medieval cast lead weight dating to period c. AD 1500-1850. The weight is circular in plan. It has an edge (9.61 mm thick).There are numerous surface cuts. At the centre of the front face is evidence of iron corrosion. Such weights might equally be used for private or kitchen use. This is one of three lead weights of decreasing sizes to have been recovered from a similar vicinity WILT-A36E8A, WILT-A3C72D and WILT-A3DC77. It weighs 107.3 g.
