Description: A complete copper alloy buckle pin, dating to the medieval to post medieval period AD 1400- AD 1700. The pin oval in cross section and would have attached itself to a central bar of a buckle by the open ended hooks. There is also a notable ridge (almost like a decorative boarder) on the main body of the pin, just below the attachment hook. The pins end is pointed, but fairly rounded. The entire object remains undecorated. The pin is 39.09mm in length, 3.26mm in diameter and 4.85g in weight.
