Description: Copper alloy fragment of a T-shape brooch. The wings are long and tubular (D. 4.66-5.48mm. W. 45.81mm). The wings are separate and extend from either side of the head of the bow, creating a V-shaped notch between them. Only the upper section of the angled bow, which is convex, hollow and undecorated, survives (W. 11.00mm. Th. 2.02mm). There is a short longitudinal crack which extends a down the centre of the bow from the V-shaped notch. The hinge and pin are missing. The reverse is concave and undecorated. Dull dark green patina with patches of mid-green and traces of iron corrosion on the reverse.
