MOUNT 83543

Description: Copper-alloy oval buckle with ornate outer edge. The bar is offset and narrowed and is generally circular in section. The sides are convex and D-shaped in section. The outer edge bears moulded decoration in the form of two prominent knops which flank four ridges. At the centre there is a notched lip which has a transverse groove to serve as a pin rest. On the upper surface, the knops are both decorated with two oblique grooves. The pin is missing.
