Description: An incomplete lead-alloy bagseal, probably dating to the post medieval period. The seal comprises two flat circular discs, joined at one point with a small rectangular connecting strip and joined also in two further sections of the arc. The lead has split and torn at the edge approximately opposite the connecting strip. The whole item is abraded and the two main faces scored. The remnant of a beaded edge can be seen on one of these faces.
It is 17.53mm in diameter, c4.50mm thick and weighs 6.31g.
