Description: An incomplete copper alloy Roman T-shape brooch dating to the period AD c. 50-150. The brooch is missing part of the head, the pin, the lower part of the bow and the catchplate. The head is composed by two tubular wings, one of them is missing as well as the axis bar. Between the wings is a small slot for the attachement of the pin. From the top of the head originally projected a single loop, now broken. The bow extends from the head creating a 90 degrees angle. It is rectangular shape and shows a sligtly convex surface that is decorated with two elongated recesses originally filled with enamel. The back part of the bow is smooth and undecorated.
The brooch is 22.69mm in length, 18.61mm in wingspan, 10.34mm in width, 1.79mm in thick and weighs 3.19g.
