Trade weights, which look similar to this item, often have a rim (and so are 'dished'). This weight has a slightly raised rim, c4mm in width. Inside this border, there is a rough depression which may be damage, it is not possible to be sure, and, just inside the raised rim, a circle of marks which may be lettering or part of a pattern. The underside is scored, whether damaged, or scored deliberately for some reason, is not clear. It has the whiteish appearance of lead.
