BUCKLE 799146

Description: An incomplete copper alloy medieval single loop D-shaped buckle with lipped frame dating to c AD 1250-1450, the pin is missing. The buckle frame is D-shaped with a slightly lipped frame decorated with a circumferential groove. The frame narrows and is connected by a circular profile pin bar. The buckle is 12.7mm in length, 18.55mm wide and weighs 1.38 grams.
