Description: A fragment of a copper alloy Roman multiple motif bracelet dating to c AD 320-410. The bracelet is a notched, toothed and crenellated type. The fragment is a shallow D shape in section and is bent. The ends of the fragment are damaged but narrow towards a blunt point. The inside of the bracelet is smooth and undecorated. On the outside the bracelet is decorated with diagonal lines creating a zigzag pattern (although the diagonal lines do not quite meet) and between each of the angles of the lines there is a sub-triangular depression pressed onto the bracelet. The fragment weighs 1.7g and measures 36.66mm in length, 4.47mm in width and 1.52mm in thickness.
