Description: A late medieval French jetton of 'four lis in a lozenge' type, the principal design under the reigns of Louis XI (1461-83) and Charles VIII (1483-97). It was struck probably at Tournai, following the return of Charles VII and the reopening of the mint there. Reference: Mitchiner 599b
