BUCKLE 744323

Description: A complete post medieval copper alloy buckle dating to the period c AD 1550-1650, the pin survives. The buckle is worn and there is evidence of corrosion along the pin bar. It comprises a double loop oval shape with moulded floral decoration on the loops and lobed knops at either end of the integral strap bar. The buckle is 39.95mm in length, 31.5mm wide and weighs 7.85 grams.
