UNIDENTIFIED OBJECT 739650

Description: An incomplete copper alloy unidentified object consisting of hook of uncertain date. The hook comprises a circular strand of copper alloy which has been curved at one end to form a deep hook with a flattened section next to the point, which curves out slightly. At the other end the hook has been flattened and splays outwards as well as curving convexly away from the hook. The end of the flattened section is incomplete and there is an uneven break which appears to be at the point of a perforation through the hook.
