Description: An incomplete and rather worn unusual copper alloy medieval French Chatel Tournois stock jetton dating from the 15th century, with a jagged edge to the flan. The obverse has four keys arranged in a circle with a fleurs in each angle, a garbled legend around the outside reading REMSOVRO[...]. The reverse has the Chatel Tournois logo in the centre surrounded by interlinked thorn branches (in place of a legend).
