Description: An incomplete probably post-medieval (1600-1750) copper alloy double loop rectangular buckle frame, missing its pin. The cetral bar is off-set from the frame. The outside edges are decorated with trasverse grooves, radiating from a central area. The frame to either side of the central bar is decorated with a pair of transverse grooves. The outside edges of the frame are angled outwards and the central bar is triangular in cross-section. Measures 23.2x15.9x2.3mm and weighs 1.96g. The internal loops measure c.7x10mm.
