Description: A medieval to post-medieval (1350-1600) copper alloy double oval buckle frame, with the remains of a corroded iron pin curled around the central bar. It measures 27.3x22.6mm (internal surviving loops c.9x17mm) and weighs 2.37g. The loops are angled slightly upwards from the central bar, which is D-shaped in cross-section. The loops are triangular in cross-section, with a flat underside and a short inside edge.
