Description: A medieval to post-medieval (1350-1600) copper alloy double oval buckle frame, incomplete in so far as it is missing its pin. It measures 32.8x22.4mm (internal surviving loops c.12x21mm) and weighs 2.99g. The loops are angled upwards from the central bar, which is triangular in cross-section. The loops are also triangular in cross-section, with a flat underside and a short inside edge.
