Description: A Roman copper alloy T-shape brooch dating to c AD 50-150. The brooch is incomplete and comprises only the wings and a section of the bow. At the top, the undecorated wings extend to either side. The pin attachement bar is missing. At the top of the bow, there is the remnants of the circular head loop. The bow curves forward. The sides of the bow are stepped below the convexity of the central section of the bow. The remnants of the bow are decorated with two raised lozengiforms. The lozengiforms are decorated with cross hatching comprising three incised lines in each direction. The back of the bow has the central section scooped out and is otherwise undecorated.
