Description: An apparently silver plated Roman denarius of Tiberius (AD 14-37), the so-called 'Tribute Penny', PONTIF MAXIM reverse around female figure seated right holding inverted spear and branch on a chair with ornamented legs and a triple line below. There are patches of missing plating on both obverse and reverse. Reference: RIC I, p.95 no.28.
