Description: Two rim sherds from a Medieval (AD c.1100-1300) Laverstock scratch-marked vessel. The fabric is hard, coarse and dark pink and grey in colour with a reduced core. There are frequent sand inclusions of various sizes and colours. The vessel was hand made with thick walls and thick flat rims (maximum thickness for the wall 17.30mm and 28.9mm thick for the rim. A combined weight is 105.04 grams.
