Description: Complete copper-alloy looped socketed axe. Straight sides expanding out slightly at straight blade. Square-sectioned mouth with rounded corners. Prominent collar at mouth with two narrow horizontal moulded ridges below on all sides, although they are very shallow on the side with the loop. Small amount of clay core in the lower part of the socket. This is a well-cast and finished axe. L: 130 W. mouth: 36.5 B. mouth: 40 Socket dims.: 27 x 28.5 W. loop: 8-9.5
