Description: Complete bronze looped socketed axe. Straight sides expanding out slightly at straight blade. Rectangular-sectioned mouth with rounded corners. Prominent collar at mouth with horizontal moulded ridge below on all sides. Unfinished blade. The edges at the socket have been worked on. L: 129 W. mouth: 34 B. mouth: 39 Socket dims.: 23 x 29 W: loop: 8. Part of a hoard of 68 Armorican socketed axeheads.
