Description: Complete bronze looped socketed axe. Straight sides expanding out slightly at straight blade. Square-sectioned mouth with rounded corners. Prominent collar at mouth with horizontal moulded ridge below on all sides, although the ridge is barely visible on looped side and the opposite side. Casting flashes on all seams. L: 129.5 W. mouth: 33 B. mouth: 37.5 Socket dims: 24 x 24 W. loop: 4-7.5. Part of a hoard of 68 Armorican socketed axeheads.
