SPINDLE WHORL 603534

Description: An undatable (but probably Medieval to Post-Medieval) lead spindle whorl or weight, hemi-spherical in shape with a central piercing. It is larger on the flat underside (10.26mm) and smaller on the convex upper face (9.39mm). Much of the surface is actively flaking away and any decoration is now lost. Measures 25.03mm in diameter, stands 7.13mm in height and weighs 19.21g.
