Description: A copper alloy mount of uncertain date (probably Medieval to Post Medieval). Overall, it measures 21.15mm long, 14.75mm wide and 4.80mm thick (in section the object measures 1.60mm thick). It weighs 1.82g. The object has been slightly bent out of shape. There is loop at the top containing the remains of an iron rivet. The rest of the object appears to be in the shape of the head of a man in profile looking right. Distinguishable details include eyes, nose and chin as well as hair formed by a raised ridge along the upper and left edges. There also may be a collar or ruff formed by a globular protrusion in the lower left corner.
