Description: An incomplete copper-alloy medieval or post-medieval buckle dating to the period c. AD 1350 - 1650. The pin is missing. The buckle consists of a broadly oval frame divided into two oval shaped halves by a central pin bar. The pin bar features a recess which would have originally accomodated the pin. The buckle measures 30.10mm in length, 25.62mm in width and weighs 4.99g.
