Description: Complete bronze looped socketed axe. Almost vertical sides, straight blade. Rectangular-sectioned mouth with rounded corners. Prominent collar at mouth, no moulded ridge below. Casting flashes at seams. Most of clay core intact. L: 124 W. mouth: 36 B. mouth: 42.5 Socket dims.: 26 x 31 W. loop: 4-7. Part of a hoard of 68 Armorican socketed axeheads.
