Description: An incomplete copper-alloy Roman brooch of uncertain type dating to the period AD c50-c200. The fragment comprises the foot, most of the catchplate and a fragment of the bow. The fragment measures 22.25mm in length, is 8.90mm wide at the widest point, is 1.75mm thick (3.45mm including the catchplate) and weighs 1.91g. The fragment is broadly triangular in plan and is flat with the exception of the catchplate. There is no visible decoration on either side.
