Description: Complete bronze looped socketed axe. Rectangular-sectioned mouth, with rounded corners. Sides expanding out considerably to straight blade. Prominent collar at mouth, uneven upper edge. Prominent horizontal moulding below collar on front and reverse surfaces. Large side loop. Casting flashes at all seams. L: 126.5 W. mouth: 26.5 B. mouth: 37.5 Socket dims.: 20.5-26.5 B. loop: 5.
