JETTON 395699

Description: A worn and bent late 16th-/early 17th-century copper-alloy 'rose / orb' jetton struck by Hans Schultes II (fl. 1586-1603 AD) at Nuremberg (Mitchiner 1388, 1389). The jetton has been pierced at the inner circle at 10 o'clock on the obverse and 2 o'clock on the reverse.
