Description: A highly worn post-medieval silver coin: an early 18th-century Portuguese 80 reis piece of Pedro II, uncertain mint, dated 1700. This coin has been bent twice after the manner of a love token, with an S-shaped profile. It has been perforated for suspension, probably as a jewellery item: at just off 12 o'clock on the obverse, just past 12 o'clock on the reverse.
