BROOCH 33793

Description: Cast copper-alloy annular brooch. Sub-oval with one slightly pointed end and the opposing end round. There are six raised collets placed equidistantly around the frame. The collets lack a setting, but two have a white, probably calcium carbonate cement, within. Traces of stampted circular lines on the inside and outside edge of the frame, between the collets. On the upper surface of the frame, there is a small 'step' at the base. The under surface of the frame is bevelled and there are filing marks. Copper-alloy wire pin secured through a circular perforation in the frame.
