Description: Cast copper-alloy sub-rectangular buckle; incomplete. The hoop is rectangular, with a slightly recessed axis bar, most of which is missing. The outer edge of the hoop expands with a convex semi-circular extension; the underside of which is hollow. Moulded decoration on the upper surface is comprised of a central transverse ridge, with two sub-rectangular motifs on either side which extend to the edge of the frame, becoming narrower as they do so. Even, dark green smooth patina.
