Description: Cast copper-alloy annular buckle and integral plate. Circular hoop with bevelled outer and inner edges. A slightly pointed extension , also with bevelled edges, protrudes from the centre of the hoop, providing a partial pin rest. The sub-rectangular plate expands slightly at the outer edge; there is a central pin hole and two rivet holes which retain traces of the iron rivets close to the outer edge. The folded iron pin is intact, and it has corroded slightly onto the plate and hoop. The plate has a slightly irregular chip-carved border on at least three sides and a chip-carved motif within, which consists of at least three curving lines, two of which intersect.
