Description: Fragment of Early Post-Medieval copper alloy spur, consisting of most of the figure-of-eight terminal (and broken across the piercing closest to the arm of the spur). It measures 20.86x11.87x3.57mm and weighs 2.9g.
The complete piercing has a diameter of 4.2mm. Between this and the damaged piercing, diagonally across the centre of the terminal, is a groove from side to side. Between groove and piercing on one outside edge is a triangular-ish projection, emphasised by a groove either side.
